How to set up:
As an admin, you can configure a company VPN connection in VPN Tracker and instantly share it with remote users via TeamCloud.


Consultancy firm sharing client connections

You’re part of a larger consultancy firm and you and your colleagues regularly need to access more than 15 client networks via VPN.

What you need:
  • VPN Tracker Consultant+ licenses for each consultant, each with support for up to 200 TeamCloud connections

How to set up:
Each colleague receives a license in order to configure and manage client VPN connections locally. Colleagues can then share connections with other consultants via TeamCloud. All consultants in the team have access to all shared connections. Connection settings can be updated remotely and synced for everyone in the team.


Larger organisations with multiple branch offices

You are an admin for a large organisation with multiple branch offices. Your employees need to access specific services in multiple locations.

What you need:

How to set up:
The network admin will configure VPN connections for each branch office location locally. Then, the admin will create dedicated user groups, depending on who needs access to which connection. Only members in that particular group will have access to the connections within that group.

You run a small business with up to five employees and want to securely share your single office VPN connection with one or multiple co-workers.

What you need:

How to set up:
Configure your office VPN connection in VPN Tracker and share the connection with your other team member(s) via TeamCloud. If you need to update the connection, changes will be synced automatically for everyone.

What you need:

How to set up:
You create connections for your customers. You can then join your customer’s team and can share the connection to your customers’ team members via TeamCloud.


Admin creating custom VPN connections for individual team members

You are an IT admin and need to create individual VPN tunnels for a group of users. Each user receives their own VPN connection for the service(s) they need.

What you need:

  • VPN Tracker Team Member Plus+ licenses for each of your users

How to set up:
Configure the custom connections locally on your Mac. Then, set up a group for each team member. Each team member’s personal connection is then uploaded to that group. Only the team member(s) in the group will have access to this personalised connection. If you need to update connections, changes will be automatically synced for the user.


Multiple consultants requiring different numbers of connections

You’re a consulting company. As the senior consultant, you need access to all clients’ connections, your other colleagues only need a few connections each.

What you need:
  • 1 VPN Tracker Consultant+ license for yourself
  • VPN Tracker VIP+ licenses for each of your colleagues
  • A VPN Tracker team (learn more)

How to set up:
As the senior consultant and admin, you can configure and manage all connections locally. Set up user groups to upload your connections to via TeamCloud - groups can be personalised or scenario based, it’s up to you. Each regular consultant is then added to a user group and can only access connections shared in their respective group (up to 15 connections.)
